Highland Cheer Reigns Again

Highland Cheer Reigns Again

Continuing an impressive tradition of excellence spanning nearly 15 years, the Highland High School cheer team has once again been crowned the 6A State Champions. Under the exceptional leadership of Head Coach Jessica Gallot, the program has demonstrated remarkable achievement both athletically and academically. This year, the team also earned the 6A Academic State Championship with an outstanding average GPA of 3.77.

Notably, while half of the team is made up of freshmen, seven of the Highland cheerleaders are graduating seniors who have been part of a state title-winning team every year of their high school careers—a testament to their talent, consistency, and commitment.

Cheerleading is a year-round endeavor that requires dedication and discipline. We commend Coach Gallot and the entire team for their extraordinary accomplishments and tireless work. Their continued success brings pride to Highland High School and our entire district. Congratulations to all on this well-deserved recognition.
